Mount a second disk to /home

Just for the record, non LVM.

The disk to be used

Make a primary partition

Format the partition using Ext4 File System

Mount the partition, make sure /home is empty otherwise back up beforehand and contents will be inaccessible after mounting

Edit /etc/fstab, append the line

Explaination
1 meaning dump should back up the mount points (0=no)
2 meaning fsck should check the mount points (0=no, 1=root, 2=other)

 

Done!
